After three years of hard work by countless people, the Cu @ Swansea project is breathing life back into the site of the former Hafod-Morfa Copperworks in the Lower Swansea Valley.

A programme of work is being completed to make the site safe and accessible, and visitors can now enjoy new trails, artwork, and interpretation.  The site is back in business, as we celebarte the lives and labour of those who created 'Copperopolis' and put Swansea at the very centre of Britain's Industrial Revolution and the new world economy of the nineteenth century.

On Thursday 12 June Welsh Government Minister for Culture and Sport, John Griifiths AM, visits the site to inspect the ongoing works.

Then, on Saturday 14 June, a 'Living History Festival' will see thousands of people entertainined, e3ducated, and inspired by Swansea's copper heritage.  It is a packed programme of events between 1 and 5 pm.

Come and join us we will Cu @ Swansea!
